Retail Associate

Your daily pursuit helping our guests make memories, whether by suggesting the perfect souvenir choice or giving advice on how to best explore the park!

  • Engage guests – assist with selection and advice in choosing products and information about the Park
  • Keep the shop looking great – clean, organize, merchandise
  • Handle cash and credit transactions
  • Help your teammates
  • Help maintain inventory and up to date product availability

A typical work week is 5 days on and 2 days off. Retail Associates may work a combination of morning and afternoon shifts with an average of 32 hours per week.

Possible other job positions: 

East Glacier: Retail Associate, Employee Dining Room Attendant, Laundry Attendant

West Glacier: Food & Beverage Attendant, Pizza Shop Worker

Wage and housing

WAGE:

$14.50/hour

Estimated average number of hours per week: 35
Estimated minimum number of hours per week: 32
Estimated maximum number of hours per week: 40

Average number of hours per week reached by last year’s seasonal employees: 32

Meal Plan (East Glacier): Mandatory – Estimated Cost Per Day: $14.5
Participants receive 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) during standard meal periods, plus access to drinks, snacks, fruit, and sandwich fixings in the dining room anytime between meals.

No Meal Plan at West Glacier.

HOUSING:

Housing Provided? Yes

Housing Cost: $150/week (East Glacier),

                          $60/week (West Glacier)

Housing Deposit: $100 – refundable deposit as long as the housing unit is left in good standing (clean, no damages beyond normal wear/tear). It will be taken out in 4 increments of $25 over the first 4 paychecks.

Company Parties, Holiday Events, Potlucks or Dinners, Shopping Trips, Trips to Nearby/Major Attractions, Sporting Events, Movie or Game Nights.

The mountains, lakes and streams are our playground. Each day is packed with moments ripe for memories – crushing miles on the trail, bagging peaks, swimming in ice-filled pools, fishing & rafting the river and kayaking lakes. We also offer a fun-filled activities program for our team.
