Job descripton

Guarding pools, water slide and spa are located in the hotel complex.

A rural hot springs resort that hires international students to work during summer time.

Wage and housing

WAGE:

Regular Rates $15
We guarantee 32h a week (average from last years 40h a week, overtime 1.5x base wage with direct supervisor’s approval)

HOUSING:

Housing is provided by employer.

Housing Cost: $50/week

Utilities and internet access included. Dorm-style type of housing. Common area consists of a living room with a TV with satellite television, kitchen, and laundry facilities. Units are furnished with beds, bedding (pillow, sheets, comforter or quilt), silverware, pots, plates, microwave. 2-3 students share the room in the unit/chalet.

Transport and location

Located in Nathrop, Colorado between the towns of Buena Vista and Salida, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort is ideal for family vacations, romantic getaways, mountain weddings, or corporate events.

Housing is arranged in the resort just a few steps from the pools. Maximum 5 minutes walking surrounded by beautiful nature.
Useful info and recommendations: Grocery runs will be provided once a week.

Purchasing your own car is strongly recommended, you can ask maintenance if they can go check the car with you.

The resort also provides its employees with some outdoor activities like rafting, horseback riding and more (usually for a very small mandatory fee – for rafting it is $5).

The area is beautiful and full of outdoor activities. The resort is located 2500 meters above sea level and surrounded by mountains, perfect for people who love nature and hiking. The nearest village is a 7-minute drive far and the city of Salida 25 minutes by car. Unlimited outdoor recreation alternatives indulge every interest in every season at every level.

Colorado is famous for outdoor sports so on your day off you can just hike around the resort or try to climb Mt Princeton which has more than 14 000 ft.

There is also an opportunity to borrow a bike at the resort and go on a trip to Buena Vista, Salida or St Elmo (ghost town with many chipmunks which you can feed).

If you purchase a car (which we recommend) you can go to the nice mountain town of Aspen, Colorado Springs, Great Sand Dunes National Park, The Castle Rock (shopping mall) and many more.
