Job descripton

We are an In-house Pool Division: owning and operating pools in Apartment Communities we own. We currently have 56 pools in the Baltimore and Washington area. Being an In-House pool company, profit is not our number one concern.

Our number one priority is providing our customers with the best lifeguards and the best possible customer service.

You will be working as close to the community in which you live as possible. In most cases you will be actually working where you are staying and you will need 2-5 minutes to get to work and start your shift. In a few cases, you may need to utilize public transportation, ride a bike, or walk depending on distance. Housing is located within 0-5 miles to your job site.

 

Wage and housing

WAGE:

  • first time guards: $17.65
  • returning guards: $17.65

 

Guaranteed hours: 40hrs average per week. Overtimes (1.5x regular wage) possible (5 – 10 hours) but not guaranteed.
Before mid-June and after mid-August, the pools shift to a different opening schedule, reflecting the school hours of corresponding counties.

Uniform: $100

HOUSING Cost and BONUS Structure :

 

Rent deductions will not begin until July, allowing participants to enjoy one month of free housing in June.

To reward early arrivals, participants will receive a rent discount, which will appear directly in their paychecks as reduced rent deductions:

  • Arrivals before May 23, 2026: rent deduction will be $350 per pay period (instead of $450), saving $100 per pay period — a total savings of $400, with a final rent cost of $1,850.

  • Arrivals between May 23 – May 31, 2026: rent deduction will be $375 per pay period, saving $75 per pay period — a total savings of $300, with a final rent cost of $1,950.

  • Arrivals between June 1 – June 10, 2026: rent deduction will be $400 per pay period, saving $50 per pay period — a total savings of $200, with a final rent cost of $2,050.

  • Arrivals after June 10, 2026: regular rent deduction of $450 per pay period, total rent $2,250 (no discount).

 

1-3 Bedrooms furnished apartments w/ kitchen and bathroom.

We provide shower curtains, vacuums/cleaning supplies and furniture (beds, table, chairs, sofa, nightstands, dresser). Gas, Electricity, water and trash removal is included in rental payments. Kitchenware, utensils and bedsheets provided as well.

Latest Start date: June 20,2026

Pools are open daily except on Mondays.

How to get to work? Walk, bike, bus (Silver Spring)

 

Pick-up at the airport: no

Recommended to arrive in Washington D.C. Dulles Airport (IAD) or by bus in Silver Spring Metro Station from Monday through Friday in afternoon hours.

Participants MUST inform the employer of their arrival date and location prior to arrival (airline, flight number, date, time, and the name of the airport). The most efficient method of transportation from the airport to the office is to pay for the Super Shuttle service.
