Family owned and operated Alaskan lodge offering premier lodging and dining on the pristine Summit Lake, in the heart of Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula. The beautiful property has 16 spacious guest cabins and 3 charming historic suites.

Wage and housing

WAGE:

Housekeeping – $14/h
Dishwasher – $14/h
Barista/Ice Cream Shop Worker – $12/h

These positions are all eligible for cash tips from customers. Overtime is also available if the student is interested.
Work Week: 5 days a week with 2 full days off to get out and explore Alaska. The work week is 40 hours per week.

HOUSING:

$0-8 per day (there are opportunities to do work for free housing – for example gardening, landscaping, painting, …). Shared dry cabins with 3 people per cabin. Personal space with a twin bed, dresser, nightstand, and closet. Large employee common area that has bathrooms, showers, a large kitchen, living room with television, WIFI, and space to hang out. Dishes and cookware are provided. Laundry facilities available.

Transport and location

How to get there? ✈ Arrive at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska. The employer will pick you up there, take you to the grocery store to buy food and any necessary items, and drive you to Summit Lake Lodge.

Hiking and exploring Alaska, kayaking and canoeing on Summit Lake. Fishing on the Russian River, seeing Glaciers, summer festivals. Float plane rides from Summit Lake.
